THINGS IN MY HOME - NEW RUNNER - photos of house featuring in Style at Home magazine Oct

I finally got a runner for my stairs, I went to a reputable carpet shop locally and found a carpet that was the same colour as the landing carpet, but a different texture and got it whipped on the edges in a green to match the floor tiles. I love it and it makes such a difference to the stairs. Also here is some pics from my home being feature in a magazine in Nov.

RIP - WILLIAM PLUNKETT

Was yet again sad to hear the passing of William Plunkett, who is a best of British Design hero in my eyes. Glad to see a fitting Obituary for him in the Guardian. If you would like to read it hear it is and there is some previous Blog posts I have done on him in my list.

MY HOME - update

Its been a while since I did an up-date on my home.. Kitchen is more or less there now, with new door, new brick wallpaper and lighting etc. Bedrooms are almost there too. Just have to get a runner for the stairs and then new flooring for the living room and I will be pretty happy with the house. Outside some paving from the back-garden and think that will be it. Would love to know what you think of it so far...
